Write for ScoreMyArrow: Share Your Archery Knowledge as a Guest Contributor
ScoreMyArrow is built to help archers at every stage, from someone picking up a bow for the first time to club owners running tournaments. The best content for that comes from people actually living it: coaches, experienced archers, and the people running clubs day to day.
If that's you, we'd love for you to contribute.
Who We're Looking For
Coaches
Share the advice, corrections, or lessons you find yourself repeating to students. A technique breakdown, a common mistake you see constantly, or your philosophy on coaching beginners, all of it is genuinely useful to someone just starting out. We feature these in our Coach's corner series.
Archers
Your journey matters, however it looks. How you got into the sport, a challenge you worked through, a turning point in your training, or advice you wish someone had given you earlier. We feature these in our Archer Spotlight series.
Club Owners and Organizers
If you run or help manage a club, your perspective on what makes a club work, how you've grown membership, lessons from running tournaments, or advice for someone starting their own club, is valuable to both new archers looking for a club and to other club organizers.
What You Get
- Full author credit with a bio and a backlink to your website, coaching page, club page, or social profiles
- Exposure to an audience actively searching for archery guidance, whether that's beginners picking their first bow or archers looking for a club to join
- No cost, no catch. We're not a content mill looking for free labor, this is a straightforward trade: your expertise and story, for visibility and a link back to you
How It Works
- Reach out with a short note about what you'd like to write about, or just that you're interested, we can help narrow down a topic together
- Send your draft in whatever format is easiest, a full write-up, bullet points, or even just a voice note or a few answers to some questions, we can help shape it into a finished piece
- Review before publishing. You'll see the final version and approve it before it goes live, nothing gets published without your okay
- We publish and credit you, with your bio and links included
A Few Guidelines
- Length: Roughly 500–1,000 words for coach/technique pieces is a good target, though we're flexible. Archer Spotlight pieces can be shorter or longer depending on the story.
- Tone: Write like you're talking to someone who's new to this. Avoid assuming jargon the reader might not know yet, or explain it briefly if you use it.
